Don’t try to strive for more; maybe it’ll come, maybe it won’t – but don’t waste time worrying about it. Instead enjoy what you can have: spend your time not worrying about how you should be becoming the New and Better You, but enjoying what you can have: good food, walks in the park, sunrises and sunsets, interesting books, and fun movies.
Make this the year for the “you” you already are. You can try to become a New You next year. Keep in mind though that “slowing down” shouldn’t be equivalent to becoming irresponsible.

Okay, so maybe this one isn’t as unique as other resolutions on this list – improving financial standing often pops up on these types of lists, after all – but it’s one that you shouldn’t skip, no matter how unique you want your list to look.
The fact of the matter is; financial emergency will likely be the #1 reason you might have some trouble completing these resolutions. So make sure you have a security blanket ready so that your plans don’t get derailed.
